But what is Vichitra Collective?

Vichitra is a Sanskrit word which could mean bizarre, strange or unique among many other things.

Vichitra Collective is an expression of many forms of one's own self.

I feel that our society thrives on fear. This fear stems from our conditioning of being certain. We are always trying to chase certainty in a life who's nature is to flow with uncertainty. To wade this conditioning I came up with my own jargon which helped me quit my only job I have enjoyed so much for the past decade:

"Fear is the juice of life."

Vichitra Collective is born out of this very fear. It's an attempt to learn to flow with uncertainties in its very raw form. It's an attempt to exist with one's own raw nature.

I have acquired a certain taste in various mediums for expressing myself. These span across fields like Photography, Programming and Computer Vision, Grooving on a drum-set, Alpinism, Coffee and what not.

Vichitra Collective is a studio space to express myself through these mediums. It is a commitment to this journey of constant flow of expression and not the destination.

I try to pursue this commitment by documenting my process for reinforcing different learnings and expression of self through different bodies of work.
